Sun and wind lend grace to Leysin's Le Kuklos Revolving Restaurant

Having recently installed 10 solar panels below the terrace and a proposed vertical axis wind turbine, now the revolving restaurant atop La Bemeuse in Leysin is greener than ever. Le Kuklos (located 2048 meters above the sea level) makes one revolution in an hour and a half.
Committed to make it an entirely green restaurant, the Association Leysin Energie took several years to realize the green makeover and aspires to turn the restaurant into an off-the-grid structure before long. For nature lovers, the unique café while housing 250 seats offers a panoramic view of Lake Geneva, the Rhone Valley and Mont Blanc.
