Madison Square Park to get three recycling machines for Recycle Glass Week

Tomra, the advanced recycling solutions provider from North America, will install three recycling machines at the New York City’s Madison Square Park. Assisting the park visitors to dispose of glass, aluminum and plastic containers, the automatic machines will collect, sort and compact these containers to recycle them later. Here, as part of the GPI (Glass Packaging Institute) Recycle Glass Week, a collection event is scheduled from September 21 through 27.
In approval of visitors’ contribution toward keeping the park clean, the organizers will felicitate them with memoirs like iPod shuffles and T-shirts. All raised money will go to the Madison Square Park Conservancy.
